Back Porch Jam
Where is the event?
The Back Porch Jam will be held at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds located at 215 Sydney Washer Road Dover, FL 33527. The main fair entrance is one block north on Sydney Washer from the intersection of Sydney Washer Road and State Highway 60.
How much does it cost?
Admission to the event is $10 per car which includes parking. Admission allows for 8 people legally seated in the vehicle.
Are there any other costs involved?
Once inside you can enjoy the festivities. We have free love entertainment on our stage. If you are going to enjoy the food and drink stop by the JAM BUCK tent. JAM BUCKS will be the accepted currency at the BEER TENT and the BBQ/FOOD vendors! Jam Bucks can be purchased in packs of $20. (purchase early online and Save $$)
How do I enter the BBQ Contest?
The BBQ contest will be sanctioned by the KCBS and we will offer a MASTER and BACKYARD series competition. There are over $7000 in cash prizes available. From the main Back Porch Jam page on the website lick on KCBS Contests for more information! Entries are due March 1!
How do I become a judge?
Judges must be certified with KCBS and can register by clicking on the KCBS Judges Link on the main Back Porch Jam page on the website!
What can or cannot I bring?
No pets. Service dogs are welcome in accordance with ADA guidance.
No illegal weapons. All bags are subject to search by our security team.
No outside alcohol or illegal substances. All bags and coolers are subject to search by our security team
You can bring outside chairs and seats to enjoy the festival!
Valid ID. All guests entering will have their ID checked to verify that they are over the legal drinking age if they have purchased an alcoholic beverage from our beer tent.
